My mission is to promote inclusive physical activity for men and women of all ages and abilities, including those who may be less able, through a fun, safe, and effective wellbeing approach.
I aim to support people in developing their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, helping them reach their full potential and improve their overall quality of life. Our classes also provide a welcoming space where people can connect with like-minded individuals, helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation.
Through our unique style of exercise classes, participants can increase mobility and independence, improve strength, balance, and coordination, and enjoy valuable opportunities for social engagement.
Our classes are designed to be enjoyable, safe, and effective, helping participants improve their overall health, fitness, and wellbeing.
Sessions focus on gentle but effective movements that help individuals:
Improve mobility and flexibility
Build strength and coordination
Increase confidence and independence
Stay active and socially connected
Classes are suitable for a wide range of abilities and are delivered in a friendly and supportive environment.

One of our main goals is to pass on our knowledge and skills by providing additional health, exercise, and wellbeing classes accessible and affordable to people in all communities.
Janine Rickus
For more than ten years, Janine Rickus has dedicated her career to improving the fitness, mobility, and wellbeing of older adults and people with disabilities through regular exercise classes across the West Midlands. She is also the creator of the successful Menovation programme, which continues to support women’s health today.
In December 2018, Janine became Business Development Manager for EXTEND Exercise Ltd, where she helped develop training programmes and strengthen partnerships within the organisation.
The EXTEND Exercise Training Charity, founded in 1976, has long been recognised as one of the UK’s leading training providers for exercise instructors working with older adults and people with disabilities. With more than 45 years of experience, the charity delivered accredited training qualifications and exercise programmes for communities across the UK.
This role allowed Janine to work closely with community organisations, care facilities, and professional instructors, gaining valuable insight and experience. Sadly, due to the impact of the pandemic, the charity closed in December 2021.Some of the professional teachers previously affiliated with EXTEND have classes unde the E&M Wellbeing logo.
As an entrepreneur, freelance trainer, and programme developer, Janine is passionate about combining her expertise with other experienced professionals, health advisors, and partners to deliver innovative wellbeing programmes to Dorset.
